My Testimony

My junior year of high school, I told myself that there was no way to know for sure whether or not I was going to heaven, so it didn't matter how I lived my life - God was either going to let me in or He wasn't. This idea certainly reflected the way I lived my life. I would put my time, energy and efforts into whatever I thought would make ME happy, no matter how damaging these things were to me or to my relationship with God. My freshman year of college, a friend of mine challenged me to read the bible with him and he told me about what God thinks of my sin and about the grace of God. Through reading scripture, and with the help of my friend, I saw that Jesus paid the full price for my sin and that by trusting him I can be sure that my sins are forgiven, that because of what Jesus did I am going to heaven and can enjoy a relationship with him now! I want to help college students see the grace of God, trust Jesus, walk with Jesus, and tell others about Jesus - much like my friend helped me in college.
