I grew up in a church going home, but my view of God was that He was “loving” but distant. I knew that Jesus had died on the cross for me, but I didn't understand the importance of that for my life. I tried to live morally and do all the right things in order to have the approval from God and my parents. My freshman year of college I was in a bible study with a woman who started asking me questions about my relationship with God and who Jesus was to me. Through reading scripture and conversations with her, I understood my sin and need for a Savior. It was then, during my freshman year, that I surrendered my life to Christ. In experiencing God’s grace and love, He has given me the desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ to those around me. God has given me a vision to use my story to reach college women for the purpose of His glory.
