My Testimony I grew up attending church weekly, but my family never talked about God outside of church. We went to church on Sundays, but that was the extent of it. I grew up a fairly moral person, and I thought pairing morality with attending church regularly meant I was going to heaven. Because I thought morality played a role, throughout high school I attempted to have my good out weigh my bad. This was exhausting. When I got to college, I met a woman on staff with Campus Outreach who began challenging me on a spiritual level. She invited me to weekly meetings and started a Bible study with me. For the first time, I began to see my sin and understand that I could never do enough good things or be moral enough to earn my way to heaven. I could only receive the gift of eternal life by placing my trust in the one person who was good enough. Jesus. The only person who ever lived a perfect life. Soon after realizing this truth, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and have been walking with God since
